Work It Wednesday: So Basic

Here I am, being basic in this not-so-basic sweater dress. With the crazy swirl that the holiday season brings, I welcome such simplicity. What is easier than this? Not much, really. However effortless a dress may be, an all black ensemble with some key pieces - in this case my glasses, bangle and booties - can be oh so chic. It's also one of those outfits that can take you from your 9-5 right to drinks/dinner. And at its current price tag (see below), this piece is a must have!

That's all I got. Need to get back to holiday prep (just a few more holiday cards to go!). Hope you are all hanging in there and staying warm. The countdown to Hanukkah & Christmas is on!

Outfit Details:

Glasses: Warby Parker (Hadley), $145 (+$35 for high index lenses).

Cowl Neck Shift Dress: Gap, $39.99.

Bangle: Christmas present from one of my besties! Unfortunately, it looks as though the Etsy shop is no longer.

Tights: Simply Vera Vera Wang at Kohl's (old). I have to say, this pair has truly held up!

Booties: c/o M.Gemi (Poco).

I picked this ladder up on one of my trips to Brimfield earlier this year. The banner was a purchase during an Bloomie's F&F event.
