My Maternity Wardrobe

Gap Soft Spun Tank Dress_29 weeks_.jpg

Purchasing maternity clothes has been my least favorite activity during this pregnancy. Luckily, there are a handful of non-maternity pieces that I can still wear without looking utterly ridiculous. Even then, I needed to buy a few items to carry me through this pregnancy as my belly continues to grow.  I've made plenty of online orders, only to return a majority of the items. The few pieces I kept have proven to be my go-to's, meaning, they are on heavy repeat and worn pretty much weekly. In this blog post, I've pulled together what those pieces are in case it is helpful to you (like this tank dress from the Gap which you can shop directly below).

This Gap Long Sleeve Twist-Front Sweater Dress is one of my favorite pieces (wearing an XS). It's nice and stretchy and I find it to be flattering. It works perfectly for casual wear (as seen here) and for the office (I usually pair with flats). I l…

When the summer rolled around and brought with it high temps and plenty of humidity, it was a sign that I needed at least one pair of shorts. I picked up this pair at Target from the Isabel Maternity line. I've been wearing them every weekend. These have the elastic panels on the side versus the full panel in the front. They are very comfortable and is adjusting nicely to my growing bump (I'm wearing a size 2). Highly recommend these!

I'm glad it worked out because I've been wearing this all summer (wearing a size S). It's comfy and I like that the straps can come off (no tan lines for this gal!).

As my high waisted workout pants started becoming super uncomfortable, it was time to bite the bullet and pick up a pair of maternity ones. I opted for a pair of the GFast full panel pants from Gap in XS (mainly because it was on sale) and I am happy I did. I brought these with me on our trip to Switzerland and they were perfect for our hikes. As I am still working out, I needed another pair and grabbed it from the Isabel Maternity line from Target, also in an XS. It comes with the full front panel with a good amount of stretch.

Leggings are a must! And this pair from H&M (size S) is perfect. I did have to get them hemmed because they were super long. And for the price, you cannot go wrong. I've defn gotten my money's worth in wears with them.
