On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

You ARE experiencing a case of deja vu because I have already worn this hot pink top. It's true, I do wear things more than once. After the inaugural wear to a Boston Bloggers brunch, I started to think of ways I could remix/re-wear/reuse (call it what you will) this top. You know I am all about cost per wear. The more times I can wear an item, the better I feel about the money I spent. But could such a bright color work in the office? Yes it can! I work in a conservative environment so I did tone it down a notch. This is easily done with dark solids. In my case, a gray blazer and black skinny pants. Classic black pumps (with studs, of course) round out this office worthy look. You can reuse this equation over and over again. Just swap out one blouse for another. It's a great way to add a little pop of color, print and pizazz. Come on, be the standout in a sea of blue and white button down shirts!

Outfit Details:

Silk Blouse: Greylin (Alaia blouse) from outLIT Boutique, $50 (original price $118). If you are ever in Back Bay, make sure to swing by the outlet. Nothing in the store is over $100! I am digging this hot pink blouse from Nordstrom, $79.

Corazon Pendant: c/o Bauble Bar.

Open Front Wool Blazer: Marshalls (old). The silk blouse would pair well with the Express cropped jacket, in either black or gray, $39.99.

Carly Bracelet:Loren Hope ($78) via Rocks Box.

Ankle Pants: The Limited, old. Good news is that this pant is still available, $79.95. Use code SPRING and save 50%.

Black Studded Pumps: Banana Republic (Ninah). These pumps were way marked down in the store. After an in-store discount, I got them for a whopping $41.99! Unfortunately, they are sold out, but there are other colors and prints to choose from.

Shopper: Chanel (petite shopping), Gift. I present to you a few options: (1) Nordstrom: Kate Spade Large Phoebe Quilted Bag, $428; (2) Forever21: Quilted Faux Leather Tote, $29.90; and (3) Aldo: Gadsden, $55.
