Cable Knit & Leather
I seriously need a vacation to recover from my vacation. Does anyone else ever feel like that? The task of unpacking three suitcases, doing a bazillion loads of laundry and clearing out 450+ work emails was exhausting. I felt like I was running on fumes from the lack of sleep thanks to Mr. jetlag. I am slowly getting back into the swing of things, including giving this blog some TLC. The ease of this outfit is helping me ease back into blogging after a 2.5 week hiatus. A cable knit and skinny jeans will do, but of course, I had to debut a few of the Italian goods I picked up on my trip. If you ever find yourself visiting Pienza, stopping by Officine904 is a must for leather bags. It's a colorful storefront with bags whose leather is as smooth as butter and the shapes are unique. My love of cross-bodies and oxblood led me to choose this one out of the many options. I've literally been using it everyday since returning home. But the piece de resistance are the boots. If you've been to Florence, the amount of leather stores is overwhelming. So I did a little bit of research and found my way to Goccia. It's a very small boutique but housed beautifully made shoes. I tried on two pairs and immediately knew that this pair was THE ONE. After a little bit of bargaining (tip: cash is king), I walked away with these beauties. Truth be told, I had to expand my suitcase to fit these guys in there (along with the meat, cheese, olive oil, jars of pesto.......). Good news, everything arrived back to U.S. of A intact #success.
