Been There

Prada_Loft_Ku De Ta_Mia_coverThe wedding expenses are starting to roll in (T minus 4 months!). With that, comes the shrinking 'shopping fund.' Hence the recent blogposts about turning something old into something new and repurposing an old skirt into a dress. Getting something new without spending any money! In that same vane, this post showcases my wardrobe remixing skills. It's true, I DO wear things more than once. The last time you saw me in these shorts was when I played hostess at Ku De Ta for a Girls Night In. I dressed them up with a button-down, statement necklace and a pair of heels. Going in the opposite direction this time, I paired them with my trusty ole chambray top and strappy sandals for a lazy Sunday. Confession: the sandals are new (but on sale!). I opted for my slip-ons later on for a trip to LegoLand with my 4-year old cousin and the mister. Toddlers are fast little buggers!

Embroidered Shorts: Pink Martini from Ku De Ta, $74 (paid $59. I got to enjoy the 20% discount from the event too!). Contact the store directly for size availability. For something similar but on the casual end, I'm loving these embroidered linen shorts from Anthropologie, $58 (comes in three colors) or the embroidered trim woven shorts from Forever21, $24.80.

Strappy Sandals: Mia (taylor) from Bloomingdale's Outlet, $39.99 (reg. price $79.99). I hit the outlet right as they were having a great shoe sale. And you bet I used a coupon on top of that! Available at 6PM, $49.99.
